Welcome to my page

My name is Svein-Erik Dahl, and this is my private little corner of the world. The door is open so please come on in.

I have put together a few pages for you, if you are interested, oldies music from the the 50-60's, my home town Sandefjord,  cars and boats from the same period, a little bit whaling history (yes I have been there) and a story about the vikings from my part of Norway.

I have been around, whaling in the Antarctic, sergeant in the Air Force, engineer in Saudi Arabia, programmer in Germany, Holland, France and some other countries.

This is my way to tell you my story. It is a complete redesign of my old pages, so I have not translated everything to English yet (dec. 28, 2004), but I'm working on it.

If I feel for it, and get the time to do it, I might release some of my programs too. Most of it is written in C++, but I have an interesting program written in Java, a Photo Album with image processing.

Surf around, listen to the music and have fun, but please, remember to give me a note in my guestbook, even if you don't like what you find.
